Shelling of Ganja city by Armenian armed forces

Armenia expanded area of indiscrminate shelling of settlements in the Republic of Azerbaijan. On the morning of October 4, 2020 the armed forces of Armenia launched massive missile attacks against the densly populated residential areas of Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan (60km away from the frontline) from the territory of Armenia.

As of 4 October, totally 1 civilian has been killed, 32 civilians (6 of them are children) have been hospitilised with various injuries as a consequence of heavy artillery shelling in Ganja. Serious damages inflicted upon civilians, infrastructure ans historical buldings in Ganja.
